Ongoing treatment is needed to continue to benefit from the anti-aging effects of Dysport injections

It takes about 24 hours to to begin to see results after your injection(s). Most patients will experience the positive effects of Dysport from 3-4 months after their treatment.

There is no real downtime after neurotoxin (Dysport) injections. You should expect to see a bit of swelling and slight redness at the injection site for a few hours. To prevent excess swelling, we recommend that you avoid heavy exercise, salty foods, alcohol, and sleeping face down the same day as your appointment.

Dysport will slowly fade away if you choose to cease treatments. You are not obligated to continue Dysport injections after your first treatment.

Dysport’s formula isn't much different when compared to Botox, but the proteins used in Dysport make it ideal for use on larger areas of skin. Dysport is typically the go-to neurotoxin for larger facial areas like the forehead. Results are also much quicker with Dysport, within 24 hours of injection (vs. 7 days with Botox).
